Pianist - Art gallery opening Noho Senior Arts Colony Los Angeles

Pianist – Noho Senior Arts Colony in Los Angeles

I was hired as an instrumental pianist at an elegant gallery opening for the Noho Senior Arts Colony in Los Angeles (North Hollywood). I played a mix of jazz, classic rock and contemporary pop/rock which I picked out to help create a conversational atmosphere for the attendees.  I have to say that playing instrumental piano for a group of artists at an art show rates very high for me!  To get paid to bring musical magic to someone’s artistic magic is right on top for me!

The client was very happy and posted a 5 star review on my profile at GigSalad:

NoHo Senior Arts Colony Gallery Opening

Rex gave an outstanding piano performance last Tuesday at NoHo Senior Arts Colony. He was timely and professional. He felt the ambiance and provided a warm and welcoming repertoire of songs. We look forward to working with him again!

Ambient background music on piano involves choosing instrumental versions of well-selected music that contributes the right atmosphere and ambience to an art gallery showing or other event where people gather and enjoy conversation.  The feedback I received from the attendees was awesome and inspiring – I was repeatedly told that I added just the right amount of “atmosphere” to the event, so that people could easily hear their conversation with no effort, and yet there was a perfect amount of sound filling the room so that the conversation didn’t “stand out” in a way that might make people feel uncomfortable or self-conscious.

If you or someone you know is doing a party, private showing, or other event where it’s important to have live and responsive background music, get in touch with me! Let me bring the musical magic to your event!
