Approaching spring performing at favorite venue in and around Los Angeles always offers opportunities for me to play solo piano & vocals for very nice crowds. In March, I’ve enjoyed playing jazz standards, such as Fly Me To The Moon, All Of Me, Take 5, Black Orpheus, It’s A beautiful World, Night And Day, Misty, as well as a good spread of classic rock, pop and R&B tunes. I love playing “Spirits In The Material World by the Police, several Billy Joel tunes, some Van Morrison, Beatles, Eagles and assorted oldies. Stormy Monday and Route 66 always get good response from the guests, as well as other classics.
I also did a private party or two, performed at a local jam session with a number of other great musicians, and got some interesting work done laying down tracks in my studio.
I’m working up a number of new additions to my repertoire, with particular focus on contemporary dance tunes, especially for upcoming party band events, so stay tuned for that!
March isn’t over yet, and I’m looking forward to singing duet music on upcoming events, dual keyboards and nice backing tracks included!
With the onset of Spring, I’m also looking forward to all the lovely couples who will be needing amazing and magical wedding music! And warmer weather for those outdoor parties that need full bands or jazz trios!
