I’m a Los Angeles-based pianist, vocalist and music artist. I perform solo piano and vocals at upscale venues in and around the Los Angeles area, including private parties, corporate events, weddings, fund-raisers, restaurants, receptions, gallery openings, in fact, just about anything you can think of where live music performance would add ambience, quality and entertaining magic.
I’m available to help make your party or event more entertaining, exciting and enjoyable by providing live music as a solo piano-vocalist, with a rock band, jazz trio, jazz ensemble, or even performing elegant, ambient modern electronic music.
I perform standards, pop, rock classics, oldies, contemporary pop/rock and original selections.
I love all kinds of music and I love to do what works well for each event I play.

Making The Cut As A Los Angeles-Based Singing Pianist
One thing I’ve learned in performing solo piano & vocals at various venues in Los Angeles and surrounding areas is that some pianists get poor reviews for playing too loud or in a way that interrupts the atmosphere. I’ve learned that it is vitally important to “read” each situation and make sure that whether I’m playing instrumental piano or piano with vocals at a restaurant, reception or similar event, I set the volume and style of my performance to create a magical atmosphere that is appropriate for that setting. Recent feedback I’ve received has been very favorable in this regard, so I have no doubt that future clients will be very satisfied.

While background atmosphere has it’s own specific requirements, it’s totally different if I’m being hired to lead a dance band at an outdoor party, such as the one I did recently at a high school homecoming event, leading a rock quartet. I can do loud as well! The feedback we got was that they loved the great energy we brought to the event, and the kids really enjoyed our mix of jazz standards, classic rock, pop & R&B classics!
Some recent types of performance venues I’ve been hired for include wedding receptions leading a jazz trio (piano, stand up bass & drums), highly reputed steakhouses performing on the house piano, private events leading a rock quartet (keyboards, guitar, bass & drums) and outdoor cafes both as a solo piano & vocalist and also as part of a duet with two keyboards and backing tracks.
